Info
— Line 6 or L6, coloured navy blue, (currently terminating at Plaça Catalunya - Reina Elisenda) is the name of a Barcelona Metro and Metro del Vallès service in the city of Barcelona operated by FGC, and part of the ATM fare-integrated transport system. Originally one among many other urban lines of the FGC network, and previously numbered U6, it shares tracks with other services in several stations, except the ones exclusive to its separate branch. L6 links Plaça de Catalunya, the city centre, with the district of Sarrià-Sant Gervasi. In the future the service will be extended westwards, eventually reaching the Monastery of Pedralbes and the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona. This line is not to be confused with the unrelated line VI which was proposed in 1965 but was later slowly abandoned from 1984-2001.
