Khlong Bangkok Noi (Thai: คลองบางกอกน้อย; lit Bangkok Noi Canal) is a khlong (คลอง; canal) in Bangkok; its name is the origin of the name Bangkok Noi District.The source of this canal is similar to the Khlong Bangkok Yai. When King Chairachathirat of Ayutthaya Kingdom in 1552, he was ordered to dig through the Chao Phraya River to shorten the travel time. It became the two canals are Khlong Bangkok Yai and Khlong Bangkok Noi like today.Although Khlong Bangkok Noi is a shorten canal, but it can also be linked to many other canals such as Khlong Chak Phra in the area of Phasi Charoen District and Khlong Lat Bang Kruai with Khlong Om Non of Nonthaburi Province etc.
Currently, it has been promoted to be one of Bangkok's cultural attractions alike Khlong Bangkok Yai. Because it flows through many historical and cultural landmarks such as National Museum of Royal Barges, Wat Suwannaram, Bangkok Noi Railway Station etc.
