Classical Ballet has been an integral part of York County Since 1978. When the Covid-19 pandemic struck in March of this year, York County Ballet, was suddenly forced to close its doors. Talented dancers of all ages were left without a classical ballet studio within the county to continue their education and the community lost an important part of its culture. Over the last four decades, thousands of dancers in our own community have been trained in the art of classical ballet and have been united as a family.



Ballet of York County, a brand new 501.c3 non-profit, tax exempt organization was formed to continue a tradition of artistic excellence and community arts education that is a fundamental piece of our history in York County. We seek to continue educating current and future generations of dancers in the timeless art form of classical ballet.
