Prawet (Thai: ประเวศ, pronounced [prā.wêːt]) is one of the 50 districts of Bangkok, Thailand, located in the southeast of the town. Neighboring districts are (from the east clockwise) Bang Phli (Samut Prakan Province), Bang Na, Phra Khanong, Suan Luang, Bang Kapi, Saphan Sung and Lat Krabang (Bangkok).
Si Nakharin road, named after Srinagarindra, is the major road of the district. There are plenty of housing projects along this road. Prawet also plays an important part to control flood problem in eastern Bangkok with a vast lake in Rama IX Park.
