When you start learning to play the twelve string you will be able to strum a variety of different chords and you will also start to develop your finger strength as well. Once you have learned the basics and are familiar with the thickness of each type of string, it will then be time to move on to the fretting hand. You will be able to work the individual notes on the fret board.



All of these factors will make it much easier for you to learn and develop your finger strength. Once you have developed your finger strength, you will be able to become familiar with the complex process of strumming. You can start to figure out what the intervals are and you will have the ability to use them in your songs.



When you play a song you may be able to figure out one or two notes and it may be difficult to know what they are in the song. To learn more about strumming chords you should try strumming one chord and then another. Try to figure out how many times you strum that particular chord.
