The alligator used in our products is locally harvested by licensed trappers in strict accordance to the rules laid out by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) and the Convention on International Trade of Endangered Species (CITES). Florida Alligators, unlike Crocodiles, Caimans, and various other members of the crocodilian species often found in luxury goods, are not on the endangered species list, and Florida leads the world as a model for comprehensive conservation initiatives.
