The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Shidler College of Business is located in the U.S. state of Hawai‘i and is the state's only public business school. Established in 1949, the Shidler College of Business is named after The Shidler Group's Jay Shidler, the school's major benefactor, who is a wealthy commercial real estate developer and an alumnus.
Shidler is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), and offers a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), a Master of Business Administration (MBA) (Full-time and Part-Time), a Master of Accounting, a Master of Human Resource Management, and a Doctor of Philosophy in International Management (PhD). Through partnerships with international universities, Shidler also offers a U.S., China, or Japan-Focused Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Vietnam Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA). Shidler also offers Graduate Certificates in Professional Accounting and Entrepreneurship.
In 2013, U.S. News & World Report ranked Shidler amongst the nation's top business schools. Both Shidler's undergraduate and graduate business programs are ranked in the top twenty-five percent. Shidler's international business program is ranked 12th best.
